Alabama Collect

alabama-collect-barcelona.jpg

Alabama Collect is a by appointment only, vintage treasure trove nestled in a small Poblenou showroom in Barcelona. Within minutes of stepping in to the attic space (with a rooftop terrace that dreams are made of) it was clear this is a must-visit every time I come to the city. It's an incredibly well edited vintage collection, with a heavy of focus on 90s designs. Worth noting is the wicker trunk filled to the brim with neatly folded Levi's and the mint condition Burberry trenchcoats – if only I hadn't just bought a new trench...

Paula who runs Alabama Collect is one of the loveliest people I've met and has been in the attic showroom about two months, however the online Tictail store has been going strong for a while. Praise be the fashion gods – the blue blazer I'd eyed up online was still there! That and about 5 other blazers I fell in love with, the addiction might be getting slightly out of hand. In other words, stay tuned for a cavalcade of blazer outfits.

Sneakerhead Strikes Again

Updating my sneaker wardrobe for fall I'm looking towards comfortable athletic styles. The shades of grey will be jazzed up with colourful socks (of course!) and worn to death like other sneakers that enter my daily fashion routine.

Backpack Bonanza

On my shopping list for spring and summer? A backpack to fit all my essentials and keep my hands free. Especially considering we'll be doing a lot of traveling when we go to the US in June. 4 flights and a train journey will be much better with a touch of sartorially pleasing practicality.
